Throughout the course of 2016, Corporate Language Communications worked closely with Coolibah Herbs, a premium wholesale grower, supplier and distributor in the food manufacturing industry, for several interpreting and translation assignments.

Coolibah Herbs approached CLC seeking an integrated approach to interpreting and translation. CLC were able to provide interpreters in several languages for Coolibah Herbs company meetings and announcements, in order to accommodate their multicultural and multilingual staff, ensuring important information was communicated clearly and accurately.

CLC provided on-site interpreters at the Coolibah Herbs farm in Pearcedale, who attended meetings over a period of months to ensure consistency for the information communicated. Following the interpreting assignments, CLC provided professional translations of company documents in multiple languages, in order to consolidate that which was discussed at meetings.

Our translators have attested to the specialist and technical knowledge they employed for this assignment, stating that:

“Translating an enterprise agreement for Coolibah Herbs from English to Malay was a particularly challenging assignment, not just in terms of length, but more specifically, in terms of the complex legal and technical language used.

The assignment required a deep understanding of both languages, and the ability to decide on the best words to use, when variations exist offering the same meaning, in order to convey, concisely and precisely, the subtle nuances intended for its Malay audience, which in turn, made this assignment one of my most professionally rewarding.”

In addition, Coolibah Herbs Director of Human Resources, Katie commented:

“We were so grateful that CLC were able to accommodate our last minute requests for interpreters. CLC made the process of booking an interpreter simple and easy. The interpreters that attended were professional and very effective at communicating the messages; we had no issues with misunderstandings or miscommunications. Thank you to CLC and their interpreters for helping our company meetings to run so smoothly!”

We were thrilled to assist Coolibah Herbs with this ongoing assignment which required the skills and expertise of our interpreters and translators over the course of 2016.
